Is it me or does every character on this show recycle boyfriends?

Another season finale can be checked off the list, and this one, while somewhat predictable, was boringggggggg. Seriously. It was obvious Max and Naomi were going to pick each other (this after she said PJ was the one..wasn’t that like 2 episodes ago?). I knew Teddy was bound to return, and I knew that she’d ask him to be the father of her child. One of my favourite gay characters gets to have a child without adopting, and Silver isn’t forced to choose between Navid or Liam (it’s clearly Liam by the way). I am happy with this decision, but it’s not at all shocking.

Dixon! I think I’ve loved his character since this beginning of this show. I’ve missed him in the most recent episodes, and was annoyed with how he was brought back, only to be involved in a crash… And of course Adriana is clueless about the whole ordeal.

Caleb & Annie… I feel sad about this. I wanted Annie to be happy with someone…for once. Maybe it’s because the actress who plays her is Canadian and was once on Degrassi… Either way this ending of a relationship must mean that they’ll line up someone new (or old) in the next season for Annie to say “I Love You” to once again. I’m predicting this will be Austin… I mean he did take the bullet for her, and he WAS close with Dixon…but we shall see.

As for Ivy, whose storyline get weaker and weaker everyday…she leaves to find Diego in Mexico City after a last minute plea fails to be effective. Hoorrrray and goodbye. Boring. Predictable. And also not that exciting. What’s she even doing with her life anyways? I loved her when there was a real story to her, and a fight in her not to conform to everyone else’s way of life.

Well that about sums it up. Not so fabulous, but not the worst thing I’ve seen… Thoughts?

With the way tonight’s episode was going I was super worried that the Chuck hints were just throw us off. I was thoroughly disappointed with Chuck’s initial rejection, but then I remembered…they have a concluding season and you can bet they’re going to marry those two off. I have been waiting for that moment since the series first started, and I couldn’t be happier. It’s always been about Chuck and Blair, and it will end that way despite all the DAIR fans out there… Dan will find someone to be happy with, and I don’t foresee that being Serena.

Second, Serena’s return to coke… that is ridiculous writing. Give her a positive story line FOR ONCE, and stop making her into a fuck up, or someone who never is happy. It’s so frustrating to watch her constantly be fucked over, or fucked up on some sort of drug. She’s better than that.

Rufus & Lily… I almost predicted this in my sleep. They are from two different worlds and despite their best efforts…can’t make it work. Power hungry people deserve one another.

Senior Bass… I was excited for your return, and then you decided to fuck with Chuck so to speak. Now I have zero sympathy with you, and I hope you go down in flames like you deserve.

Georgina… well she’s just entertainment factor, and it’ll be nice to see her pair up with Dan.

Lastly, the potential gossip girl (or guy), at least that’s what the hands of the person looked like…and Nate discovering this video… hmmf. Who might this be? I’m thinking it we’ll find out in the last season, and it will leave us hungry for more.

xoxo
